Poor Ovarian Reserve

I hope everyone is doing alright. I am a new member of this forum. I have been reading a lot of posts and trying to link with a lot of you. I have been TTC for 3 years now and I am honestly losing hope. When I was trying there were few problems that existed and I knew I would have to deal with them. The first was that I am an anorexic patient and the second was that my periods were extremely irregular I wouldn’t get on them for years. We started off really bad when I visited this doctor who without even checking me up properly prescribed Prover and Clomid. I was on a 6-month cycle and literally, nothing was happening for me. The side effects were pretty bad as I saw a significant increase in hair fall. Anyways, after that, I did visit a specialist who was astounded to know my story. He did my essential tests and also an ultra sound. The results came and it was found out that my FSH levels were high and AMH levels were quite low. This meant that I had a poor ovarian reserve and would probably not be able to conceive naturally. Now, this was not that hard to accept but when he told us that the chances of success with IVF for people with poor ovarian reserve are the same as when they are trying to conceive naturally. Also, the chances of MC are very high as well. I honestly, don’t know what to do now if there is anyone who has a success story to share or a treatment that will help please let me know.

I am sorry to hear all this. I think you still have a way out. You can go for surrogacy. I mean there is no way out. Why not try this as well? I am sure it will work. Think about it. Talk to your husband about it.
